Have you been giving the target of adding MORE DETAIL into your writing? There are many strategies you could use to do that. This video workshop introduces you to one strategy: using the five senses to add more detail into what you write.

Use the SHOW don't TELL strategy
Your character is happy? How can you SHOW that rather than say "She was happy."? Your character is sad? How could you SHOW that in detailed way without using the words "He was sad."?
Show don't tell! Describe your characters face, body, voice and their actions. If you describe each of these aspects of your character, you will be adding excellent detail which will SHOW your reader your characters thoughts and feelings.
