Do you have  leaking Shower?  - Campbell Plumbing & Maintenance you're Local Plumbers Adelaide can fix

The shower breech is the section of pipework in the wall between the taps and outlet which is not under continually pressure as the water is held behind the tap valves either side.

When you have a shower and operate the taps the water mixes and discharges from your shower head. The fluctuating water temperatures in this section of pipework causes an expansion and contraction effect, which over time increase the wear and tear on pipework.

"Shower and bathroom leaks can be caused by a variety of issues so don't be to quick to point to your Shower or bath breech"

Because this section of pipework is not always under constant pressure these leaks which can vary from pin pricks to 5cm holes can be difficult to identify and cause significant damage prior to you noticing. Where as a leak on a pressurized section of pipework will leak continually and will be located quicker.

Shower breeches are an important component of any shower system. They are the part that connects the hot and cold water pipes to the showerhead. At Campbell Plumbing & Maintenance, we understand the importance of having a properly functioning shower breech, as it can impact the quality and consistency of your shower experience.

Shower breeches are typically made of brass or other durable metals and are designed to withstand the constant pressure and flow of water. They are usually installed behind the shower wall, which means they are not visible to the user.

When you turn on your shower, water travels through the hot and cold water pipes and is mixed together in the shower breech. The breech is designed to regulate the temperature of the water and ensure that it flows smoothly and evenly through the showerhead.

Over time, shower breeches can become damaged or corroded, which can result in leaks or reduced water pressure. If you notice any issues with your shower, such as uneven water flow or a decrease in water pressure, it may be time to have your shower breech inspected and possibly replaced.

At Campbell Plumbing & Maintenance, we have years of experience in installing, repairing, and replacing shower breeches.
