STEP 1 - Read this website backwards and forwards. It answers many questions.

STEP 2 - Determine which date you are auditioning and fill out this quick form CLICK HERE

STEP 3 - Read through the characters on the "get to know the characters tab" and decide who you want to audition for.

STEP 4 - Memorize the monologue for your character. The monologues are HERE . If you aren't seeing this until right before the audition, it is okay to read from the paper, but it must be in character.

STEP 5 - Fill out this form and bring it with you to auditions. If you cannot print it at home, come see me in 503 and I will print you one. Audition Form

STEP 6 - Prepare a musical theatre song that highlights your voice. More details are below.

SINGING… Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Pick a song that best shows off your voice. Additional vocalizing may also be a part of your audition to determine vocal range and harmonizing skills. You can either bring a device to play your song on or we can play it from our device.

*Each cast member in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is responsible for paying the performance fee of $100 by October 31st, 2022. This fee covers the costs of participation in the production. Cast members are encouraged to join Drama Club as well.
