What is an affirmation and how is it done, you might ask? Friends, it is really easy! You simply need to repeat the same positive statement, again and again. You can say it quietly or out loud - anywhere, at any time. Repeat it until you believe it!
I know saying affirmations out loud may seem a bit weird, but when we hear ourselves say the statement we listen more closely. There is a lot of power in repetition! So, if you find one you like, write it on a post-it note and place it around your house. Parents, I appreciate you trying this with your students and making it part of their daily routine.
