Ag Mechanics & Metal Technologies

Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technologies is designed to develop an understanding of agricultural mechanics as it relates to safety and skills in tool operation, electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, fencing, concrete, and metal working techniques. 

Ag Structures Design & Fab

In Agricultural Structures Design and Fabrication, students will explore career opportunities, entry requirements, and industry expectations. To prepare for careers in mechanized agriculture and technical systems, students must attain knowledge and skills related to agricultural structures design and fabrication. 

Ag Equipment Design & Fab

In Agricultural Equipment Design and Fabrication, students will acquire knowledge and skills related to the design and fabrication of agricultural equipment. To prepare for careers in mechanized agriculture and technical systems, students must attain knowledge and skills related to agricultural equipment design and fabrication. 

Practicum in Agricultural, Food & Natural Resources

This Practicum provides students with a hands-on, work-based learning experience in the Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources (AFNR) career cluster. Students will apply classroom knowledge and technical skills in a real-world setting, focusing on professional development, communication, leadership, and problem-solving within the AFNR industry. This course includes a required supervised Agricultural Mechanics Project at both the Rockdale Fair & Rodeo and Milam County Junior Livestock Show.
