WHAT IS COLLEGE SIGNING DAY?
On Friday, May 6th, Camden Education Fund along with the City of Camden, will host the first CityWide College Signing Day at the Waterfront Music Pavilion. Students from across Camden's district, charter, renaissance, private and parochial schools are invited to attend.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama started celebrating College Signing Day at the White House as part of the Reach Higher initiative. As the tradition continues, we are thrilled to take part in a network of over 3000 events nationwide right here in Camden. Celebrating our seniors' success means more than a party; it means they know we are proud of their hard work, invested in their futures, and excited to see what they do next.

The purpose of this event is to honor the Senior High School Class of 2022 from district, charter, renaissance, and parochial who are pursuing a post-secondary education and to celebrate the next chapter in their lives as a college students. Students across the city will meet up and meet their committed institutions of higher education and their future classmates
With an expected attendance of over 500 college-bound students, the atmosphere at the Waterfront is expected to be charged with excitement by an event which mirrors a pep-rally, acknowledgement of attending schools, and scholarships.
