I started with Cambrian in 1998 and have taught all grades, TK through fourth. I received my Bachelor of Science at UC Davis and credential at Sac State, moved to Texas, but returned to CA in 1998, at which time I started in the Cambrian School District. In 2016, I left my Fammatre family to teach at Steindorf. Technology and math have always been a passion, so the STEAM focus at Steindorf seemed a perfect fit. While it was a hard decision to leave Fammatre, I feel so fortunate to work with colleagues with like minded pedagogy.
Outside of school I like to walk while listening to podcasts of “This American Life” and “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me,” two of my favorite podcasts. During the summer I enjoy hiking in the Sierras and the Rockies, but also love to travel. Travel highlights, so far, have been Italy, France, the UK, and Sweden. I also LOVE to read and love sharing that passion with my students.
