About Me

I joined Bagby in 2022, and it has been a pleasure to be a part of the Cambrian School District and Community. I have been in education for over 27 years, however, the 2022/2023 school year was my first year teaching in my own classroom. My first year was amazing, and I absolutely love teaching 3rd grade. 

I grew up in Northern California and spent my college years in San Luis Obispo. I graduated with a BA in Communications from Cal Poly. I went on to pursue my teaching credential at National University and have been in education since the mid 90's.

My husband (Bret) and three daughters, Makenna(26), Maddie(24), and Daisy(20) are my lovely family. We have two dogs, Charlie and Maple, and two kittens, Georgie and Annie Oakley. When I am not in the classroom, I am happiest at home with my family and dogs. I love playing games, baking, fishing, golfing, hiking, and I love to travel. 

Teaching is my passion, and Room 1 is my happy place. I love kids and the fun and adventure they bring to each and every day.
