Social emotional learning is a key aspect of every child's development.  At Lacamas Lake Elementary, the main curriculums used school-wide to teach SEL skills, Second Step and Steps to Respect.  Each class receives 6-8 weeks of SEL lessons that cover topics such as identifying feelings, learning self-control, building empathy, self-advocacy, bullying prevention, and much more.
