We did it! DFE students read OVER 5,000 books! Wednesday, March 31 after school, Ms. Logan will head to the hair salon to turn her hair PINK! Watch the news Thursday to see it!
Welcome to the DFE "Stick With Reading" Challenge! This reading challenge is designed to help students develop reading STAMINA (reading and finishing longer books). We want you to choose good-fit books and STICK with them until the end!
From January through Friday, March 26, 2021, read (and FINISH) as many books as you can.
After you finish a book, report it using this Google Form.
Participation in this challenge is encouraged but is optional and is not part of your library grade.
More rules:
For students in grades K-2, all books finished will count toward this challenge.
For students in grades 3-5, chapter books, nonfiction books, and graphic novels count toward this challenge. (Your teacher may have specific requirements for you--choose books that are a "good fit" for you, and ask Ms. Logan and/or your ELA teacher for suggestions). While we love picture books and encourage you to read them if you enjoy them, they will not count toward this specific challenge.
Books can come from any source (your home library, school library, Epic!, Camas Public Library, etc.).
The form must be completely filled out and submitted for your book to count.
Books finished and submitted between January 5, 2021 and March 26, 2021 count for this challenge.
Questions? Ask Ms. Logan!
