Grading
When a student completes a 0.5 credit semester class, a new grade will be posted to the transcript. The original grade stays (GPA points removed from the original class but the original grade mark stays). The summer school grades will follow this pattern:
A - B grades (80%-100%) will be posted to the transcript as is (will impact the GPA and credit will be earned)
C - D grades (60-79%) will be posted as a P or passing to the transcript (will not impact GPA but credit will be earned)
F grades (0-59%) will not be posted to the transcript- work will be saved for future credit recovery enrollments
Hybrid Requirement
Students who participate in the hybrid option will be required to attend the entire session in the subject they are enrolled in and stay for the entire session. Students do not need to stay for both Sessions. Our expectation is that students will treat others with respect and engage in their work. If students are unable to be respectful and engage in their coursework, they will be asked to continue remotely.
Fully Online Requirement
Students who choose fully online options for summer school will be required to have a weekly check-in with our summer school staff.
Students not making progress online may be asked to come in person to complete work.
