Determine graduation date
Register to vote (go to website)
Open checking account
Apply for SSI benefits (go to website)
Enroll in Medicaid (go to website)
If appropriate, begin guardianship process
Apply for SSI (After turning 18, otherwise parent income will be considered and may disqualify your student)
Option to enroll in High School Transition Program until age 21 or continue on to post-secondary education
Apply for Clark County's Job Foundations. Your student needs to access this program before the start of their last year of adult transition.
Apply for DVR's employment services.
