Zoom
Zoom
Zoom is the software we will use for live meetings with teachers.
Your teacher will provide you with a link to your Zoom meetings either on your Clever Portal or in Google Classroom.
The Zoom app is automatically added to Chromebooks and will open once you click on the link from your teachers.
Be sure you know how to mute and unmute as well as turn your camera off and on.
Your teacher may even ask you to share your screen.

Upgrade the Chrome OS
Some issues with Zoom, Google Classroom, or Chrome can be fixed with an OS update. Chromebooks run the Chrome OS - and it usually updates manually. However, sometimes users don't get the update right away, and manually checking for updates can speed this process along.
Click on the clock in the lower right hand corner of your screen
Select the Cog at the top right, for the "Settings" menu
Select "About Chrome OS at the bottom left of the menu that comes up next.
Click check for updates
