Symplectic topology meets representation theory
Cambridge (UK), 20-24 April, 2026
Cambridge (UK), 20-24 April, 2026
The general theme of the conference is actions of braid groups and their generalisations in symplectic geometry, in algebraic geometry and in representation theory. This includes applications and related structures (spherical objects, stability conditions, quivers and cluster structures, ...). We are hoping to bring together mathematicians with shared interests in such questions from across these research communities. Please join us!

Registration: For planning purposes, we kindly ask all participants fill out the registration form. We have some funds to cover participants' accommodation and travel costs; priority will be given to early-career researchers. If you would like to apply for funding, please also fill out the relevant parts of the registration form.
The deadline for funding applications is 30/01/2026. Funding decisions will be made shortly after. If you will need a visa and require extra lead time (including any early funding decisions), please contact the organisers ASAP (amk50@cam.ac.uk) and we'll do our best to help.
Logistics: The conference will start on Monday 20/04/2026 at lunchtime and end on Friday 24/04/2026 also at lunchtime. A more detailed schedule will be published nearer the time.
Funding: We gratefully acknowledge support from EPSRC Fellowship EP/W001780/1 and ERC Consolidator Grant 101001227 (MMiMMa).
