Bill Brinegar - Offensive Coordinator

Coach Brinegar joins the Northern staff after a year at Fallston HS. Previously Coach Brinegar was the offensive coordinator at Dundalk High School. Before his time at Dundalk, Coach Brinegar was the Head Football Coach at Eastern Technical High School.

Andrew Mooney - Quarterbacks/JV Offensive Coordinator

Coach Mooney returns for his third season at Northern High School. Coach Mooney was a four letterman for the Patriots prior to coaching. Coach Mooney is a rising offensive mind in the coaching world. He will lead our Quarterbacks on Varsity and call the Junior Varsity offense this season. Last season, Coach Mooney was the Co-Head Coach of our Junior Varsity program, leading them to a 6-3 record.

Joe Karbowsky - Defensive Backs/Strength and Conditioning Coordinator

Coach Karbowsky returns for his second season at Northern High School. Coach Karbowsky is a Hungtingtown High graduate and four year letterman in football, basketball, and baseball. Upon graduation Coach Karbowsky played four years of collegiate baseball for Immaculata University. Since then Coach Karbowsky has ran his private practice for strength and conditioning in Annapolis. Coach Karbowsky is responsible for our corner backs and instrumental in our offseason program.

Tom Abel Jr - Offensive Line

Coach  "T2" returns for his second season at Northern High School. Coach T2 is instrumental in the devlopment of offensive lines.  With years of experience from coaching stops at Calvert High School, Wilde Lake High School, The Severn School, Southern High School, South River High School and Dundalk High School. Coach T2 also was the former president of the local Huntingtown Youth club.

Junior Varsity Staff

Jimmy Remington - Head Coach

After a short break Coach "Remy" is back as the Junior Varsity Head Coach.  Coach Remy has been a pilar of football in the Northern end of Calvert County for YEARS. Coach Remy coached at Northern from 1988 to 1991. He then returned in 2017 and has coached here since. Coach Remy also spent time as the football commissioner and coach for the Dunkirk Warriors from 2002 to 2010. Coach Remy is a Northern graduate where he played Quarterback for the Patriots.
