8th Grade Student Testimonial- Tips for Finding Teeth

So, when I usually go looking for shark teeth, I will go on low tides, especially after a storm because more things are washed up on the beaches. I go straight to where the shell and rock beds lay which is the edge of the water. I like to go earliest in the morning or right at sunset to have just enough light to see. Looking for them with just your eyes can be hard because they can blend in with the shells, but that is where you need to look most. I’ll take a big scoop with my sifter and slowly go through. That’s how I find my shark teeth.   Good luck finding some of your own!
