Club Start-Up Steps:
BEFORE CONTINUING, YOU MUST HAVE 12 PEOPLE INTERESTED
CONTACT MRS. WHITE OR CARTER MUNSINGER (CLUB REP) TO ANNOUNCE YOUR LAUNCH
(Regardless of who you contact, everything will go through Mrs. White and or CPA Admin)
Now that you have a minimum of 12 interested students, you are ready to launch. Email Mrs. White and say “The ___club is ready to launch!” She will then get you the rest of the materials you need to launch listed below.
DECIDE ON MEETING PLACE (ZOOM) *We currently only do club meetings in Zoom*
Discuss with your advisor where the meeting will take place and create log-in information for your guests.
CONTACT YOUR INTERESTED CLUB MEMBERS
Now that you have a minimum of 12 interested students, email or message each participant to personally invite them to your first club meeting.
Be sure to check back weekly for new students interested in attending. They could potentially sign up all year.
POST CLUB EVENTS ON THE CPA SITE CALENDAR
Have your teacher/Advisor post on the CPA Site Calendar your meeting information.
CREATE A CPA moodle CLUB PAGE
Mrs. White will create a CLUB PAGE on our CPA site which will show up on your dashboard. Customize the CLUB PAGE and have your teacher enroll all the students that have signed up.
CREATE AN AGENDA FOR YOUR FIRST MEETING
It is always best to be prepared for your first meeting. It will set the tone for future meetings. Here is a CLUB AGENDA_template you can use if you like. Just file and make a copy to have your own
CUSTOMIZE BYLAWS
At C.P.A. Each club is required to have their own set up Bylaws to follow so that all student participants are aware of the procedures for your clubs. We have provided you with CLUB BYLAW_Template that you can revise to meet the needs of your club. Once you are done, please post this in your CPA moodle club page so that everyone can have access to it.
LAUNCH AND CELEBRATE WITH THE SCHOOL
Have fun and take pictures! Calvary Chronicles Newsletter wants to feature the exciting things you are doing with your club. We will share a CLUB MEDIA Google Drive Folder for you to store pictures of all your exciting events and activities.
We also want you to update us monthly on what you are up to. We will share a Google Doc to update with news and a representative from the TECH team might drop in to collect footage and interview your club.
