WASC week was March 14th through March 17th. During this week, The WASC team sent three volunteers to evaluate our school, then write a report to the Western Association for Schools and Colleges. The process involved the school creating a self- study with the input of staff, students, parents, alumni, and school board members. The WASC volunteers then met with each of those groups of individuals via zoom meetings and interviewed each of them extensively. The team also examined all of our school files, systems and documentation that supported what we had identified in our self-study. The WASC team then determined whether or not our accreditation should be renewed. The overall outcome appeared to be quite positive for all parties. Mr. Beck said the following after the visit:
"I was so impressed by the contributions of each and every one in our school community, including: students, parents, alumni, teachers, staff, and board members. I know the visiting committee was equally impressed as they wrote a glowing review of our school. As an administrator with years of experience in WASC (I’ve done 14 visits myself) I can tell you that I could not expect a more positive report than this. I am confident the terms will be very agreeable when we receive notice of them in June. "
