Brothers and sisters around the world... how does this day sound to you? On April 10th, we take the time to honor and celebrate our siblings since they are a part of our family and a huge part of our lives. No matter how annoyed or frustrated you may get at your siblings or sibling, remember that they are a very important part of your life. With that being said, happy National Siblings Day!
APRIL 10th ~ PALM SUNDAY
Palm Sunday is always the Sunday before Easter, and on this day we remember Jesus' glorious entry into Jerusalem as people greeted him by waving the palms of branches. This holiday is a very important one that we should hold close to our hearts, so let Palm Sunday serve as a reminder to us to always welcome Jesus and open our hearts to him!
APRIL 11th-18th ~ EASTER BREAK
This year, Easter Break is from the 11th of April to the 18th! Use this time to rest and relax, catch up on hobbies, family, etc., or just enjoy the free time that is available!
APRIL 14th ~ HOLY THURSDAY
Holy Thursday is also another important holiday that we celebrate during the month of April. We commemorate Jesus' Last Supper with his apostles on Holy Thursday. As with the other principal days in April, let us use this day as a way to remember the significant actions Jesus preformed before his death; the actions that would shape our belief in him.
APRIL 15th ~ GOOD FRIDAY
Good Friday comes one day after the holiday of Holy Thursday. On Good Friday, we annually honor the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the cross and his death at Calvary. Jesus did amazing things in order to allow us to receive salvation, and to celebrate it, you can worship the Lord, fast, pray, and praise the Lord for his great sacrifice.
APRIL 17th ~ EASTER SUNDAY
Easter is official on April 17th this year! It is a Christian festive and cultural holiday that we celebrate in order to remember the resurrection of Jesus from the dead three days after his crucifixion and death on the cross. On Easter Sunday, celebrate this holiday by attending the special church services that are available, praising the Lord, and celebrate Jesus' rise from the dead.
APRIL 22nd ~ EARTH DAY
Earth is the place that we live on; it'll be the only place we can live until we go to the kingdom of God. But for the time that we are here, let's celebrate Earth Day, the day that we recognize the work that has been done to protect our planet and it's environment from harmful things such as deforestation and pollution.
