About Me

Shannon Berry is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She graduated with her BA - in Elementary & Early Childhood Education, from Temple University; and made Philadelphia her place of residence. Shannon is happily married, and has three precious children.

Prior to coming to CCA, Mrs. Berry worked as an assistant-director for a Christian early childhood program. After which, she served her family, as a homeschooling mom for 3.5 years.

Mrs. Berry in an active member, and also the Children's Ministry leader, at her church. She loves serving in this capacity, as she also committed her heart to Jesus, at the tender age of 7!

Mrs. Berry believes in helping to cultivate a child's heart towards Jesus (Proverbs 22:5; Matthew 19:14) and provides: hands-on teaching that is Biblical and relevant for everyday life.

In the classroom, Mrs. Berry uses:

- Interactive lessons

- Scripture memorization

- Skits / Games

- Songs of Worship

- Meaningful dialogue

to help make God's Word understandable for the little ones she teaches!

Mrs. Berry is thankful to the Lord for the awesome privilege to "tend to His lambs" (John 21:15).
