About Me

I have been blessed by the ministry of Calvary Chapel for many years. I still remember the day I walked into Calvary with my parents as a child, thinking this was different from all the other churches I had been too. I began attending CCA as a student in 1995, the year the school opened, and graduated from CCA in the class of 2004. From there I studied Studio Art at Eastern University and earned an Art Certification K-12 through Rosement College post-baccalaureate. I was honored to return to CCA in 2009 as the Elementary Art Teacher and partnering with Calvary Chapel to continue the ministry that blessed me as a student. I strive to encourage my students in their creative expression and to use their artistic abilities to worship their Creator. I also love to foster critical thinking about art and how it has shaped our culture, and to how we can appreciate it through a Biblical worldview.
