CAL LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM NOW OPEN!!
We start of 2022 with some impressive performances from our CAL swimmers at the recently concluded Philippine National Open held at the newly renovated Rizal Memorial Complex, last February 25th -27th. Our three CAL teams, Ayala Harpoons, QCSC Buccaneers and Rising Atlantis Swim Club have prevailed the competition garnering a total of 20 gold medals out of 34 events, 16 silver medals, and 11 bronze medals with one new Philippine Record by our very own Thanya Dela Cruz in the 50m Breaststroke.
Results show how our CAL teams dominated the sprint and mid distance events, claiming men’s & women’s titles as well as placing in top 3 in most of the events at the meet. There are also notable performances from Thanya Dela Cruz, Miguel Barreto and Mishka Sy where the three tankers sweeped all of their entered events.
The overall performance was remarkable despite the limitation in the preparation we had due to the pandemic. WIth hopefully more meets to come, our CAL swimmers continue to remain excited students of the sport, endlessly learning from every experience to become more knowledgeable and confident to race.
