NEW RECORDS AND PERSONAL BEST TIMES IN THE 2022 GRAND PRIX SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

After months of training and conditioning of our CAL swimmers, their hardwork and perseverence have paid off as they were able to perform well in the Grand Prix Swimming Championships in the New Clark Aquatic Center last October 13 to 16, 2022. Three CAL swim teams, Ayala Harpoons, QCSC Buccaneers and Rising Atlantis Swim Club, have competed in this year's Nationals.

Another Philippine National Record was registered by Thanya Dela Cruz in the 50 meter breaststroke during the first day of Nationals. After clocking 32.42 early this year during the 2022 Philippine National Open, Thanya dropped more than a second after swimming a fantastic 31.35 seconds. 

Notable performances were seen from Rafael Barreto, Miguel Barreto, Mishka Sy, Seb Wong, Thanya Dela Cruz, Ivo Enot, Joshua del Rio, Camille Buico, Erin Castrillo, Rafa Isip, Annika Isip, Marco Daos and Wacky Santos as they were able to haul numerous medals in both the Age Group and Open Category.
