I stood up and winced. Red blood dripped out of a gash on my knee. Mother reeled back. "It is just a cut." I said. But she shook her head. She took her sharp nails and scratched herself hard. Golden blood seeped out. I stared in surprise.
She sighed. "Look at my blood." What did she think I was doing? I'd been staring at it ever since she cut herself. "My blood is gold," She continued, still stating the obvious. "Yours is red," Alright, now I was fed up with Captain Mommy Obvious doing her job of saying stuff I already knew. "And only immortals have golden blood. But you were born in a rare thing. I made you, not birthed you, so I started from scratch with your genes. I don't know why, but you," She sucked a breath. I was getting impatient. She could've gotten to the point like a minute ago. "You have the red blood of a mortal. Wow."
I didn't know what to say to that, so I felt the soft texture of my wings and fluttered them open and closed. I brushed a twig, the twig that damaged my eye. The harsh wind blew dust in my good eye, so I blindly grasped the dirt floor before the twig blew away. I felt it and tucked it into my jacket.

Solara, the sun goddess and second oldest of all the gods, tried to stop the battle and dodged the attacks from the angry twin, Lumi.
Lumi was too swift for her, and she needed another plan; the problem was, she couldn’t think of one.
She slid into a hidden spot on the balcony to find the way, she found the handprint and pressed her hands into it. They glowed blue and spun rapidly, turning the space into a portal.

Anjana was a dragonfly. She was living underwater for the first few years of her life. She glided through the water swiftly heading towards the shore. She was very bored and she wanted a peak of the outside world. Her pond was small and shallow, but it was enough to keep her alive. Anjana sat down and watched. Stepping slowly, a tarantula sat down and made weird gestures with its body. It looks like a monkey dying, Anjana thought. She picked up a rock, aimed, and threw it at the tarantula.
“Who threw that?” The tarantula asked calmly. Anjana threw herself back into the water, but the water seemed to be pulling her back out. “Was it you?”
Anjana slowly nodded her head.
“Why did you do that?”
“I-I don't know,” she stammered. “I don't know, can I go now?
