E20. Digital Business Bank was aimed at the underserved Micro SME segment. For the small trader or individual who sells a product or a service and want to position themselves for future proofing for scale when they expand into a medium or even a larger scale organisation.
E20. had very simple but elegant tools to allow the customer manage payments, monitor outgoings and the status of invoices issued to their clients.
A novel feature of E20. was to allow customers to take pictures of receipts and categorise them to see how much is being spent.
With insight, recommendations can be made as to how the customer can save on the costs of materials.
As expected with modern banking, there are many features and capabilities where the customer can control spending, set up card limits and warnings, report suspicious activity in their spend transaction lists and set geo location allowed pays or categorisation spends such as POS only or Online Only spends within the UAE.
The security and convenience of the app are considered to approve payments with security step-ups such as FaceID or Touch ID to give customer convenience.
Onboarding with E20. is simple. All you need is your Emirates ID and your passport. You can open a bank account, then you are asked a series of questions, and it captures your required documents and takes a picture of your face for ID purposes.
All things being well for a happy path, you can open a bank account in a straight through process in around 20 minutes.
The remaining part is the delivery of your welcome pack, including your Debit card and Chequebook. This delivery will verify your place of employment in the application. Then all is complete!
