The best way to prepare for GCSE Media Studies is ...
Current events - look at how different media outlets and social media site or influencers report on, or discuss the same events. You'll be shocked at how varied they are.
Create a plan to study a set product each week. Regardless of what we are doing in the classroom, stick to your own plan
Do the homework - often it will be watching a video and then writing a detailed response to it. This is all good practice for your exams.
Key Revision Techniques
Get a blank copy of a set product and annotate it from memory. The more you can remember the more you'll have to write about during your exams. Your teacher has a selection of set products, and unseen products, that you can have to practice with.
Speak to your teacher if you're struggling or use your Google Classroom and post a question there.
