Mathematics
The best way to revise GCSE Mathematics is to DO lots of Mathematics.
Ensure that you complete the weekly compulsory SPARX homework (deadline Wednesdays 6pm). To give your Maths a boost, also complete the XP Boost and Target homework on SPARX.
Complete past papers to get used to the exam style questions (see the past papers page) - check the grade boundaries.
Practise writing down all your 'thinking'. Workings are critical to gaining all the exam marks - the examiner looks for process as well as a correct response.
Use SPARX, GCSEPod and Mathswatch outside of the classroom - it is no coincidence that students who make strong progress in Mathematics frequently do 'the extra mile'.
Keep a record of the papers you have attempted.
Take advantage of daily Supervised Study sessions (Flying Start, Working Lunch and Champions Hour).
Attend Maths Club every Thursday after school in D13.
Watch the answer videos walking you through the paper (see the past papers page).
