The best way to revise GCSE Mathematics is to DO lots of Mathematics.
Ensure that you complete the weekly compulsory SPARX homework (deadline Thursday 6pm). To give your Maths a boost, also complete the XP Boost and Target homework on SPARX.
Complete past papers to get used to the exam style questions (see the past papers page) - check the grade boundaries.
Practise writing down all your 'thinking'. Workings are critical to gaining all the exam marks - the examiner looks for process as well as a correct response.
Use SPARX and GCSE Pod outside of the classroom - it is no coincidence that students who make strong progress in Mathematics frequently do 'the extra mile'.
Keep a record of the papers you have attempted.
Attend all Period 6 sessions
Watch the answer videos walking you through the paper (see the past papers page).
Sparx personalises your homework, creating a weekly set of questions tailored to your level of understanding. The questions are designed to be achievable whilst offering the stretch that you need to make progress.
Deadline: Fridays 6pm
GCSEPod covers all the essentials you need to know. From geometry to algebra, each topic is clearly explained to help you build your mathematical knowledge.
