As a reminder: We are a public school, and the state requirement is 4-6 hours of schooling each day

Paw Pride = 15 minutes daily

• Morning Meeting takes place daily at 8:50 – 9:05 AM and is required of all CAVA students

OLS = 2-3 hours daily

• Students should spend a minimum of 30 minutes per OLS lesson, with additional time expected for quizzes [there are of course some exceptions, but between reading the provided content, completing practice in the OLS, completing workbook assignments and sometimes quizzes, 30 minutes of focused work time is easily expected for each lesson]

Class Connect Sessions = 2-3 hours daily

• Class Connect sessions take place daily, with a minimum of 2 hours per day.

• We meet for Math, ELA, Science or History and community building; with an additional support sessions mid-morning.

• Students are expected to attend all required sessions and are highly encouraged to attend optional ones.

Students are expected to completed 2-4% of their coursework weekly, for each subject they are enrolled in.
