There are three (3) Final assessments for the Motion and Forces Unit.
The first assessment is the Forces Diagram that will afford you an opportunity to show what you have learned about forces.
The second assessment is the Newton's 2nd Law of Motion Lab that will afford you the opportunity to show how well you can lead scientific investigations.
The third assessment is the Motion and Forces Data Assessment. This assessment is covered by competency SCI.2.1, make meaning of data collected.
Competencies covered:
Forces Diagram:
SCI.3.1, Create a model to represent a system.
SCI.3.2, Use the model to communicate ideas.
SCI.3.3, Evaluate and refine models.
Newton's 2nd Law of Motion Lab:
SCI.1.1, Ask a scientific question.
SCI.1.2, Formulate a hypothesis.
SCI.1.3, Define and analyze variables.
SCI.1.4, Plan and organize an investigation.
SCI.1.5, Organize and strengthen plan.
