The mission of the school library program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; students are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.
Hours: 7:30 a.m -4:00 p.m

JMS Receives Library Grant!
Read for Kindles Contest Winners!!
Jefferson Middle School was recently awarded a grant from the Idaho Commission for Libraries!
The grant awarded maker tools and financial assistance to the library as well as a Cricut maker. "We are excited about this opportunity," stated Media Coordinator Karri Fisk. "We recently held Teen Tech Week in the library which offered several Maker type of activities and know that there is a real interest from our students in this type of hands on learning," Fisk added.
The library will be purchasing many new items for the students to use in the lab which center around problem solving and creativity with the funding.
Six Students Win Kindles From Mount Moriah Lodge Reading Incentive!
Winners of the Reading for Kindles Contest were recently presented their new Kindles at the end of the year awards assembly. Orson Hess, Worshipful Master for the Masonic Lodge in Caldwell, was on hand to present the Kindles to the students.
This year's winners are:
- 6th Grade: RC Mann & Emma Canary
- 7th Grade: Ethan Smith & Gwean Thornton
- 8th Grade: Catherine Bird & Gabbi Heuterman
