Online Fair runs October 18th - 26th
Jefferson Middle School was recently awarded a grant from the Idaho Commission for Libraries!
The grant awarded maker tools and financial assistance to the library as well as a Cricut maker. "We are excited about this opportunity," stated Media Coordinator Karri Fisk. "We recently held Teen Tech Week in the library which offered several Maker type of activities and know that there is a real interest from our students in this type of hands on learning," Fisk added.
The library will be purchasing many new items for the students to use in the lab which center around problem solving and creativity with the funding.
The fall book fair will be held at Jefferson Middle School during Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 24th and 25th. The fair will feature popular titles for middle school readers that will be available for purchase both at the conferences and during the week prior during selected school hours.
We also have an online fair that will run from October 18th - 26th. This is not only an opportunity to purchase some great reading material for your child, but also serves as a major fundraiser for the library, as we earn 55% of all sales.
Proceeds from this event are spent entirely on new books for the JMS library. We are grateful for your support!
