This part of the competency assessment will assess competencies SCI.1.6 and SCI.1.7.

You will be completing a lab about DDT biomagnification using cups and beans of different colors.

You will need to come into class to complete this lab.

STEPS:

Complete the lab as directed in the lab packet. *We will be using beans instead of M&Ms.
Answer all questions in the lab packet.
Answer the following questions in your conclusion.
1. What are the limitations to the data collection in the lab?
2. How could you improve this lab to be more accurate?
3. What have you learned from the experience?

After you have finished, turn in the hard copy to me or submit your digital copy to Slate.
