Yellowstone Fun!

We go through the historic North Entrance at Gardiner. Because we are going during the winter the West Entrance is closed.

The students are put into teams called "clans" for the weekend. In these clans they do all the activities during the weekend. Here we see them creating their own national park.

Ranger Michael and Ranger Trudy spend the entire weekend with us explaining things about the park. This is Ranger Michael explaining a geothermal cave and why it has its name.

Another fun activity we got to do. Here we are identifying animal skulls my noticeable characteristics like what kind of teeth they have.

Taking a look at an old bison skeleton and postulating what happened.

Enjoying the views and doing some sketching.

Saw some footprints!

Yellowstone welcoming committee.

Checking out some bison.

Making dinner! Each of the clans will have a chance to make and or clean up after meals.

More footprints....

At the end of the trip we get a nice group picture!
