I came to my current position in a round-about way. I am an English major with a master of arts in Reading. I was hired at WCHS to teach English. I taught mostly World Literature. I do love books, but my real passion is food. I worked in food service in my younger days, and I worked as a Food Editor for a daily newspaper and a free-lance food writer for years. I took a job teaching culinary courses at West in 2008, and I never looked back.
It is the work I am meant to be doing in the best place to do it.
