CIS Chess Club
Chess Club is open to all CIS Students. We will meet after school in Ms. Gillar's 6th Grade Classroom on Mondays from 3:40-4:30. Transportation will not be provided.
The CIS Chess Club is for 4th-6th Grade students of all levels--beginners to grand masters. Each club meeting will consist of a short chess mini-lesson followed by chess game time. We have lots of chess sets for our kids to use, so no worries there! We will have two Match Days, where the students will play against another person from their grade level. All Chess Club Members who participate in Match Days will receive a chess piece keychain.
A note about behavior:
We are here to learn about and play chess. Any behaviors that diminish that purpose can result in removal from Chess Club.

All Behavior Agreements/Permission Forms are due on Friday, Feb. 9th. Late agreements/forms will not be accepted. Students will not be allowed to join if these forms are not completed and turned in on time.
