Before your campers' first day, please submit the required forms. Campers cannot attend camp before these important documents are forwarded to the University. During the summer, campers are expected to wear comfortable and appropriate attire with closed-toe shoes, and clearly label all belongings with their full name.
Will campers go on field trips?
No. All Academy activities will take place on the university property.
Upon arrival, the caregiver will drop their camper off at the designated area, which is identified by signage and Caldwell University canopies. A counselor will sign in your camper with arrival time on the attendance form. campers will join their pre-assigned group in Newman Lobby.
During dismissal, a caregiver will sign the child out and enter the pick-up time. Every authorized person MUST be at least 16 years of age and MUST have a valid form of ID. Scholars will be participating in activities during arrival and dismissal times supervised by their counselors.
A key component of what makes our camp unique is our staff. All of our staff will participate in a comprehensive training program before camp sessions begin.
All staff members attend a mandatory and comprehensive pre-camp training program that covers all University requirements. Examples of the training our staff participates in are: CPR/First Aid, Risk Management, Positive Youth Development Principles, Social Emotional Learning, and Inclusion Practices.

What are the dates for the Elevate Sports Summer Camp?
Costs, Discounts, & Signing Up
The cost for each camp at Caldwell University Elevate Summer Academy is $400 per week.
1. Sign up online and reserve your campers spot:
Complete the Online Registration Form.
Click on the payment link to proceed with payment.
Complete online forms by June 1, 2025.
2. Note on payments:
Forms of payment are accepted: credit/debit cards.
Caldwell University accepts all major credit/debit cards.
4. Once you’ve submitted your information and payment online, you’ll receive an email with additional registration and medical forms that will need to be completed and submitted to the camp before the start of camp.
5. The camper's medical form must be completed, stamped by a doctor and dated within 12 months of your child’s last day of camp. Note: if your child has a current medical (including immunizations), you may submit this instead of completing a new form. If the 12-month mark comes up during camp, an updated form must be submitted.
Parents/caregivers must request a refund via email 10 business days prior to the beginning of the camper's registered session. You will then receive a form to complete. Once complete, you can expect a refund 2 weeks after you submit your refund form. Refunds will not be awarded after day one of each individual session.

What is Caldwell’s criteria for hiring camp staff and what kind of training do they receive?
Caldwell recruits mature and capable staff to work in our programs. Our instructors are Universtiy faculty/coaches.

At Caldwell Summer Camp, safety is a top priority. The University ensures a secure environment for all students by providing 24/7 security personnel who patrol the campus both on foot and by vehicle. This round-the-clock presence is integral to the campus culture, offering peace of mind to students, staff, and families alike. The security team is made up of highly experienced retired law enforcement officers, many of whom have established strong working relationships with the Caldwell Township Police Department. Their professionalism and commitment to safety reflect Caldwell University’s dedication to fostering a secure and supportive learning environment.
If a child is injured, the Nurse, staff certified in CPR/First Aid and all other camp staff will take whatever steps necessary to administer care and/or obtain emergency medical care.
