In March when Coronavirus hit, we were forced to suspend all activity and redirected our efforts to provide COVID relief to those living in slums in Kolkata and to daily wage earners living in villages around our city. With our new relief initiatives, we have served areas that have been negatively impacted by the country-wide lockdown, as well as widespread destruction that resulted from Super-Cyclone Amphan.

As an organisation, our unique strength lies in our strong partners within communities, who have worked tirelessly to help us realise our cause. We have been able to respond directly to needs within various communities, and our efforts translate directly into action within the community we work in on the grass-root levels.

In 5 months following the advent of our Relief measures, we have reached 21 Satelite Areas around West Bengal.
