The Core Knowledge Language Arts curriculum is what we use for our Skills Strand in Kindergarten. This curriculum teaches students the letter sounds first before the letter names as students begin to read. The Core Knowledge Language Arts Curriculum is also used for our Listening and Learning Strand. Our Listening and Learning strand is made up of different stories that your child will listen to. Our math curriculum will help you child develop as a mathematician and critical thinker. Our math curriculum focuses on the following:

• Module 1- Numbers to 10

• Module 2- Two-Dimensional and Three- Dimensional Shapes

• Module 3- Comparison of Length, Weight, Capacity, and Numbers to 10

• Module 4- Number Pairs, Addition, and Subtraction to 10

• Module 5- Numbers 10-20, Count to 100 by ones and tens

• Module 6- Analyzing, Comparing, and Composing Shapes
