"Morning Glory", Watercolor on paper
"I Wonder", Watercolor on paper
"400", Acrylic on canvas
A painting on the dying out of a favorite animal of mine, the siberian tiger. In watching a nature documentary, I learned that there are only around 400 of these beautiful animals left in the wild due, in part, to illegal poaching.
"Death's Last Remarks", Acrylic on canvas
A bouquet of flowers that remain after a funeral. Each flower is a symbol of the many emotions we can experience surrounding death. Purple hyacinth- sorrow; white mum and red poppy- death and grief; black rose- death and mourning; orange lily- passion or hatred; and forget-me-nots- remembrance.Â
