Whether you're an experienced artist or simply want to explore your artistic potential, the Friends of the Arts welcomes you with open arms. Our engaging and inspiring programming is designed to foster a love and appreciation for the arts in our community.
Through classes, exhibitions, and events, we aim to bring people together and enrich our lives through the transformative power of art. Come be a part of our vibrant community and discover the joy and fulfillment that art can bring.
The Friends of the Arts (FOTA) provides free or reduced-cost classes, workshops, and events in the arts for underprivileged and underserved individuals. Through partnerships with local organizations, our experienced instructors aim to inspire participants and build their self-confidence while fostering a love and appreciation for the arts.
The Friends recently received the '23-'24 Impact Project grant from the California Arts Council, a state agency. With these funds, FOTA offers Memory Cafe for individuals with memory impairment and their caregivers, and Sensory Open Studio for neurodivergent and/or disabled adults in Orange County.
Join us in making the arts accessible to everyone by supporting or volunteering with us today.
These activities are funded in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency.
