SUMMER SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES
Students will have opportunity to have a full day summer school option for the first week of summer. We will run middle school summer school from June 8th-June 12th 8:00am to 2:30pm. Student will have the option to attend a wrestling sports camp from 2:30pm-4:00pm that week. Basketball sports camp will be offered week 2 during the elementary summer school session.
Students will get dropped off at the elementary where they will eat breakfast, meet with their first session teacher, and then transition to the middle school. Students will have the option to ride the bus to and from school or attend the sports camp and get picked up by their parent/gurdian.
Students must select two sessions for which classes they would like to attend.

The Cadott Summer Golf Camp is an exciting and educational program designed for students entering grades 5-12. Led by experienced high school coaches, this camp focuses on developing golf skills while instilling core values such as honesty, integrity, and perseverance. Held at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Cadott, students will receive hands-on instruction through a station-based format with multiple instructors. Participants should have their own properly fitted clubs. This camp provides an affordable opportunity to learn golf fundamentals, etiquette, and sportsmanship in a fun, supportive environment.
*Students who attend Golf can either be picked up from the golf course or take the van and return to the school to continue their day with another fun summer school course and take the bus home or stay after for our sports camps!*
JUNE 8 - 12

Students will enjoy outdoor/indoor target-based games like bean bag toss and frolfing, along with other supportive activities that promote movement, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Student can expect to go outside and enjoy the summer weather while learning and improving thier gross motor skills.

This hands-on course introduces students to science and engineering through fun, interactive projects and challenges. Students will design, build, test, and improve solutions while learning teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

If you love creating with your hands—or want to try something totally new—this is the place for you! Students will explore the world of fiber and handmade art through sewing, crocheting, needle art, and other creative projects. Whether you’re a beginner or already crafty, you’ll learn new skills at your own pace in a relaxed, fun environment.
No experience needed—just bring your creativity and curiosity. Let’s stitch, loop, and create something amazing this summer! The student will be able to keep any supplies that were purchased.

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and step into the kitchen! In this summer cooking class, middle school students become chefs-in-training as they learn how to cook tasty dishes while having fun with friends. You’ll chop, mix, bake, and experiment with recipes that are easy, delicious, and perfect to try again at home.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to stay safe in the kitchen, use real cooking tools, and follow recipes like a pro. Cooking isn’t just about food—it’s about teamwork, creativity, and confidence! You’ll work together, solve kitchen challenges, and discover how to turn simple ingredients into amazing meals and snacks.

Get outside and get moving! This summer biking class is designed for middle and high school students who enjoy riding and exploring. Students will spend two hours biking in the Cadott area, building endurance, confidence, and bike-handling skills while enjoying local roads and trails. Rides will include warm-ups, group rides, and breaks along the way. This class emphasizes physical fitness, outdoor fun, and safe riding habits. Students must bring their own bike and helmet (water bottle recommended).

June 22 - 25
8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
The Chippewa County Agriculture teachers will be hosting tractor safety from June 22-25. This will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Grounds. I will be driving a 9-passenger van over to the fairgrounds from the ag room every day. Please let me know if you would like transportation for your child. This is a great opportunity for your child who is 12 and older to learn about safely handling equipment. The cost is $50 this year. The Cadott FFA alumni have agreed to provide a scholarship for $25.00 of the cost for the first 15 Cadott students who fill out a scholarship application. Please stop by the high school or district office for the tractor safety form and if desired fill out the scholarship from the link below.
