The National School Orchestra Award 

The National School Orchestra Award® is the counterpart to the Sousa Band Award® and the highest honor you can bestow upon a member of the high school orchestra to recognize excellence in playing and contributions to the ensemble.

MSBOA Scholar Instrumentalist Award 

The MSBOA Scholar Instrumentalist Award recognizes one student at both the middle and high school level for outstanding performance in both Arts and Academics. The Scholar Instrumentalist Award is given to a student with a 3.5 GPA or higher, and who has attended at least one MSBOA sponsored event during the year.
