My CF contact already has requested for me to have access to CF Exchange and the Consultants training website. Why can’t I access CF Exchange?
Make sure you are using the correct login and password. Your login as a supplier (to use for invoicing purposes) is different from your Consultant login. Consultant login’s format is firstname_lastname (ie, John_Smith), while the supplier login is your email address. If you are using the correct login and still cannot access CF Exchange, please send an email to cfexchangesupport@cadillacfairview.com and we are happy to reset the password for you.
2. Same with question#1, why can’t I access the Consultant’s training website?
As we indicated on the landing video, make sure you are using the correct email address used by your Consultant to register for audit purposes. Your personal gmail address will not give you access. Follow the instructions here on how to register your work email address for a Google account.
3. How will I know what myself or my team are supposed to do in CF Exchange Wave II (Source to Contract)? Am I supposed to upload the drawings, prepare the RFP, etc?
Your CF contact is also trained in the system. This is where you need to work with them and coordinate on what will be your tasks. Remember, the system will be a one-stop shop of all information you need for your Sourcing Projects and Contracts. CF Exchange has the function of emails, Google Drive/ Windows Explorer, Microsoft Word (under Contracts) and e-procurement system all in one place!
4. I need to provide access for my team, how can I give them access?
For audit purposes, only your CF contact can request access on your behalf. Kindly let them know your team’s information (names and email addresses) for their request and we will get that sorted for you right away!
5. There’s a lot of information on this website, can you give me a shortcut on what to do?
That is true! This is a big change and we are here to help. Let us simplify it for you, the Sourcing Project covers Section B, C, D and Contracts covers Section E.
Everything is in chronological order, follow the order, go through each tab. Once you get the hang of it, it’s like riding a bike and you will know where to go!
And lastly, watch our short 5 minute video on the home/main page to help you navigate the training website.
6. How do I read the job aids?
The trick on reading the job aids is to know the logic. We have indicated which button is next on the steps and if there’s an arrow, it will either bring you to a screenshot of the page or more information behind the step. Once you figured that out, you’re good to go! However, if you think you still need more help, the training videos are also available for you!
7. I want to add a Supplier/ Contractor to join bidding but I don’t see them on the list. How do I add them?
This is a task for your CF contact. Kindly reach out to them to make your new Supplier/ Contractor fully onboarded.
