How to study for Wishtree

Find the vocabulary words in the book on the pages we marked. Read the words as they are used in the story. Many of the sentences I used to make the test came straight from the book. Just knowing the meaning of the words will not be enough. YOU MUST be able to APPLY the words.

The written response questions we have discussed and will continue to discuss this week in class. It is very important that you talk with mom or dad about your answers to the questions. We wrote out the answer for question #1 in class. Read this example over and over so that you know how the questions should be answered. ALL must be answered and evidence given.

I think the key for doing well is TALKING about your answers. If you can talk it through then you will be able to write.
