ECSE at Bickham West

In our early childhood special education (ECSE) class at Bickham West, we have one teacher, two paraprofessionals, and a maximum of 12 students. Bickham West is part of the Donnie Bickham Elementary/Middle School campus. For more information, please check out the DBEMS website. 

I’m excited to tell you we will be using a communication system called Class Dojo. If you have not heard of it, it’s an awesome app which allows parents and teachers to communicate instantly (just like text messaging). It will also allow me to upload/share photos and updates about what your child is doing in class. No communication that is sent directly to you (or from you to me) can be seen by anyone else, so you do not have to worry about others seeing confidential information. I can share things with the entire class on the Class Story or with individual parents in the Students’ Stories.

I am asking you to please use Class Dojo or email (jjmoore@caddoschools.org) to communicate with me. You can also call the school (318.364.1160) for emergencies or send notes in your child's folder. I do not “friend” parents on social media, but DBEMS does have its own Facebook page. If you have an account, please like us @DBMSpatriots.
