Hi! My name is Martee Reeg. You most likely have heard me referred to as Ms. Ree Ree by your student. I have the most amazing job of being the ART TEACHER at Judson Magnet Elementary.
A little bit about me...
My husband and I have two daughters, Matilda and Beatrice; two cats, Connor and Evanston; and our newest addition, Theo, our sweet Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. I have worked in the arts and with children of all ages (toddler to college) for over 20 years. I have a background in elementary, special, art and museum education. Art and education are all I have ever wanted to do. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Art History. Later, I received my masters in Art Education from Penn State. I have been working in Caddo Parish for eight years.
Art is for EVERYONE!
When other subjects fail, art is a conduit for many people to find their voice adn express themselves. Art enhances all of our lives. When given the freedom to explore and process and create without judgment, people thrive. My goals for my class are to create an exciting and safe atmosphere for your artists to learn, create, and have fun. My goals for your artists are to have fun, explore, experiment, make mistakes, learn to turn them into something different and find confidence in their abilities.
