Following the first day of food service for families following the closure of public schools statewide, Caddo Parish Public Schools is modifying sites and hours of service to better meet family needs.
On Monday, March 30, Caddo’s Child Nutrition staff will resume breakfast and lunch meal service with modifications to limit contact and decrease risk for both students and staff.
This revised meal program allows the district to continue meal service while limiting contact. The district’s plan has been reviewed by state officials and approved to proceed. Additionally, the district has requested adequate protective supplies from state offices such as masks for workers as part of distribution efforts.

How Does Grab and Go Work?
The “grab and go” meal service is intended to help families who depend on our School Nutrition program for meals.
When you arrive at the meal pickup location that is most convenient for you, Child Nutrition staff will be waiting at the front entrance of the building.
Go to staff and ask for a meal. The meal will be packaged in a bag.
The meal will be provided to children (age 18 and younger) free-of-charge.
You should plan to take the meal with you – there will not be a place to eat on-site.
You may pick up a meal at any of the 18 locations, regardless of where you live or attend school.
