-Attended workshop with grade-level team to carefully examine the roll-out of unit phenomena and unpack bundles to begin unit planning

-Attended conference for four days of compelling sessions, in-depth workshops, engaging learning experiences, policy-centered discussions, and networking events.
-Participated in sessions focused on developing media literacy in today's youth, scaling empathy and social justice through a card game and conversation with strangers to examine our privilege, and presentations about job of the future.
Adaptive Schools Seminar : : Johannesburg, South Africa
-Attended a four day training with colleagues from CAC to focus on "develop[ing] the collective identity and capacity of organization members as collaborators and inquirers and leaders."
-Developed group member and leadership skills to implement in various situations to improve communication, collaboration, and overall group effectiveness.

-Attended workshops and classroom lab-sites with grade-level team to carefully examine the structure of Writer's Workshop mini-lessons and conferring sessions.
-Reinforced current teaching practices and developed goals for improving my delivery of mini-lessons and structure of conferring sessions with students.
