Seattle Regional Congressional Gold Medal Event

The Seattle Regional Congressional Gold Medal Committee held a local event to honor our Chinese American WWII Veterans, November 13, 2021, 1:00pm PT at the Meydenbauer Center, 4th floor, in Bellevue. Each veteran or a veteran's family representative was presented a bronze replica of the United States Congressional Gold Medal as a gift from the Chinese American Citizens Alliance (C.A.C.A.).
Eligibility: The veteran must be registered and approved by the Chinese American WWII Veterans Recognition Project (the Project) here: www.caww2.org before February 28, 2021. The Seattle Regional Committee received the name list from the Project.
Thank you to the members of the regional committee and all the volunteers who helped make the event a success.

What if I didn't attend the event on November 13? Can I still get the medal? Will you mail it?
If you were unable to attend the event on November 13, we will make arrangements for pick up or delivery of the medal after November 13. The committee will be organizing medals and books in the next few weeks. Your patience is appreciated.
How can I get copies of photos?
Photos taken by volunteer photographers will be available online for viewing and download. We will post the links as soon as they are available.
Can I buy extra replica medals?
Yes, you can purchase medals from the United States Mint. Link here.
Can I order extra Commemorative Books?
Each registered veteran will receive one Commemorative Book as a gift from generous Seattle donors. Additional book orders were pre-ordered. We may have a handful available. Please send inquiries to info@cacaseattle.org. If there is sufficient interest, we may order a second printing. We will also post a digital version online soon.
