Expectations For Year 8 Pupils
Pupils are expected to have between 95% and 100% attendance.
If attendance falls below 90% parents will be contacted.
If attendance falls below 85% an ‘Education Welfare Officer’ may be contacted.
The school day starts at 8.55 am each morning.
Pupils arriving late for school may be given 15 minutes detention at the end of the same day
Persistent lateness may result in a formal detention
The school day finishes at 3.05pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Behaviour and Work Ethic
Good/appropriate behaviour is expected from all pupils at all times
Good behaviour will allow teaching and learning to take place in all lessons.
Try your best in all subjects, stay focused in class and complete and submit homework on time.
Uniform
Pupils are expected to attend school in full uniform.
Our school uniform consists of:
Black blazer with school badge
School jumper
School tie
White shirt
Black trousers
Black shoes
ABSOLUTELY NO TRAINERS OF ANY KIND OR COLOUR
BREACH IN UNIFORM MAY RESULT IN A PUPIL BEING SENT HOME

Key Words for Year 8 Pupils are Manners and Respect. Key Word for Year 9 is Responsibility and, for Year 10, the key word is Maturity. We expect our boys to show these important attributes at all times.
Attitudes and behaviours of a successful Lasallian Pupil:

· He CONSULTS his teacher when in difficulty.
· His HOMEWORK is always done neatly.
· He completes all REMOTE LEARNING tasks as requested.
