Revision support bulletin
This is the first in a series of bulletins on supporting your child through revision for upcoming exams.
Wellington pupils have taken part in internal and external sessions on revision strategies and understanding how to learn. Each bulletin will focus on a different strategy for revision.
Kate Jones: Effective Study Strategies Webinar
Kate Jones is a former teacher and currently works as an advisor for Learning and Teaching in schools. She has written a number of books on Retrieval Practice and methods to support pupils and teachers.
Kate has produced this webinar specifcally for parents and carers to support their child.

What can you do?
Watch the Kate Jones video and discuss revision strategies with your child
Encourage your child to begin their revision early and use study plans to schedule spaced practice
If your child is in Years 11-14, review the subject units and support document and identify subject support sessions
